What is a Family Meeting?

A frequent analogy that our leadership team uses when speaking of our network of house churches is the analogy of family.  We don't see ourselves as an organization or a company, but a family because what primarily defines us is our relationships with each other.

As we considered how families function, it is often through dialogue and discussion at a family meeting.  Some of these may be formal, while others happen as you live life along the way.

Because of the leadership structure of our network, and because of our culture, values (specifically simplicity) and the desire to create deep ownership to our network within those who attend it, we felt that having moderately frequent "Family Meetings" would be a great way to discuss topics that are wide enough in their scope to need the input of many who attend out network of house churches.
